Her beauty
Deep in her soul
Does hide
Hidden on the inside

Her smile lights up
Like a new-bloomed rose
At springtime’s peak
Elusive to those who seek

Her quiet wisdom
Flows beneath the surface
Strength of her love
Rarely to be seen above

To see reticence dissolve
The shimmer of her heart
Shines on assets oft suppressed
A close few are blessed

Some only see the surface
Superficially know no loss
Her loveliness ignored
Unaware that she’s adored
