Week 5

Day 29

Day 29

Totally exhausted from lack of sleep, but still had physical energy. Many tasks still to complete, but the one I wanted to work on was this necklace. You can see that it’s still daylight outside. I have a small desklamp on my workspace, otherwise no lights on in the kitchen, and the curtains are drawn. No flash, ISO 200.

Day 30

Day 30

A really fun day with my students… it’s amazing how they are pleased with things that we (as adults) might take for granted… all the yarn my mom donated so that they can try ‘Indian Weaving,’ or the tiles and glass piece my dad donated for the ‘Mineral Streak and Scratch Test.’ Their smiles bring a smile to my face. Here I am, still smiling (in spite of my empty e-mail in-box…) ISO 200, no flash.

Day 31

Day 31

Ready for Friday to be here, it’s been a busy week with the students. I need some time to myself to just think. IS0 200, no flash… candlelight. (It’s soft and pretty and warm)

Day 32

Day 32

Dinner at Benihana’s (thanks S and K!!!) and I was totally full and happy. I forgot to take my camera with me, though. Used the flash for this, ISO 100.

Day 33

Day 33

It’s late, I can’t believe I’m still up. Long day at Jessica’s tournament, then I went out. I need sleep, and lots of it. ISO 100, no flash, only the one lamp behind me and a nightlight on in the kitchen.

Day 34

Day 34

Migraine. Need dark. Need quiet, Need bed. Need painkillers.
ISO 100, no flash.

Day 35

Day 35

Curiouser and Curiouser, (as she quite forgot to speak good English…) now I am shrinking in size…
A typical Monday, where I feel as if things are flying around me with tornadic whirlwind speed. I sit calmly in the center of it, quite small, managing it all…
ISO 100, no flash, my beautiful front windows that catch the afternoon light.
